Ripoff Report Fact Checker to Debut August 1st

As most of you are aware, we have been mentioning a product we have had in the works since January with the goal of being a counterweight to online defamation and slander on the internet in regards to consumer websites like Ripoff Report.  Ladies and Gentlemen that day has finally come.  On August 1st, Berks Technology Solutions will be launching a new website with the goal of fact checking entries on Ripoff Report to determine which ones are based on fact and which ones are based on fiction.

This service will be a paid service with pricing starting at $300.00 per report with discounts offered for multiple reports.  Any report directed at children under the age of 18 will be free of charge.  This site will also fact check other consumer based sites such as complaints board, and Pissed Consumer along with posts made on social networking sites like Facebook.

It has been 15 years since Congress passed Section 230 of The Communications Decency Act, the law which has allowed anonymous users the ability to target and unjustly smear businesses and people without fear of litigation.  After 15 years, we believe that it is long overdue for a free market solution to combat this defamatory material and introduce cyber ethics into the 21st century.
